Polki diamond choker necklace handcrafted at Shrivatsa Jodhpur

Shrivatsa Jodhpur

Polki Jewellery
in Jodhpur

Authentic uncut diamond jewellery handcrafted by master karigars in hallmarked gold — from bridal sets to heirloom pieces.

The Beauty of Polki Diamonds

Polki diamonds are uncut, natural diamonds that retain their original crystal form. Unlike machine-cut brilliants, polki stones have a soft, antique luminosity — each one unique in shape and character. This is what gives polki jewellery its distinctive warmth and old-world charm, making it the preferred choice for Indian bridal and heritage jewellery.

At Shrivatsa in Jodhpur, our master karigars select each polki stone by hand, evaluating its clarity, lustre, and shape before setting it into hallmarked gold using the traditional jadau technique. The back of every piece is finished with meenakari (enamel work) — so your jewellery is as beautiful in its hidden details as in its visible splendour.

Whether you are searching for a polki choker necklace for your wedding, polki jhumka earrings for a festive occasion, or a complete polki bridal set, our Jodhpur showroom offers private consultations where you can see and try each piece before making your decision.

Polki vs Kundan — What's the Difference?

Polki refers to uncut, natural diamonds set into gold. Each stone is a real diamond with natural inclusions and organic shape. Kundan refers to the gold foil and lac setting technique used to hold the stones — it is the method, not the stone. When polki diamonds are set using the kundan technique in jadau goldwork, the result is what jewellers call “polki jadau” or “polki kundan” jewellery.

At Shrivatsa, all our polki pieces use genuine uncut diamonds — never glass or synthetic substitutes. Every piece comes with a detailed specification of stone weight and gold purity, and is crafted in BIS hallmarked gold.
